Terry Briley has wanted to build a Technology Engineering and Design program in Clearwater R-1 School for several years. He’d love to introduce technology to the community, especially since many students lack access to such technologies outside of school. This year, Terry is sponsoring several STEM teams, including a robotics club, an esports team, a chess club, and a TSA chapter. To prepare his teams for competitions and future success, he’s adding tech like drones, 3D printers, advanced desktop computers, and makerspace tools. With these STEAM solutions, Terry’s clubs will be fully prepared for their upcoming competitions this year. Outfitting these STEM teams with up-to-date tools is a priority for Terry, and Eduporium is excited to help him with these resources through our monthly grant.

Discovering and acquiring new educational STEM solutions shouldn’t be a burden for school leaders and teachers. Eduporium’s monthly grant program makes things a little bit easier. Every calendar month, we award one $500 EdTech grant to a deserving educator, helping to build 21st century learning environments and better equipping students with the hard and soft skills they need for the future. Best of all, educators can purchase all the technology from our store, making innovation in your school community easier than ever.

Whether you've been searching for technology, STEM, or makerspace grants or exploring options for funding afterschool programs, we have you covered. We’re looking for educators who have demonstrated innovation and creativity within their school community, those who have a financial need, and those who can provide a clear and concise plan for implementing new instructional technology tools within six months. If selected as a recipient of our technology grant for teachers, you'll have your choice of any items on our store within the $500 price range—from educational robots to STEM and SEL tools or anything you need for expanding your makerspace curriculum.

Our grant is open to all educators in the United States and we encourage everyone to apply! The application process opens on the first of each month and concludes on the 20th. Following the 20-day submission period, our team will review all new grant applications and notify the awardee by the last business day of the month. We will announce the recipient via our Twitter account, email newsletter, blog, and contact the person directly. While you can apply for grants as often as you'd like, educators may only apply for the Eduporium grant once per month with one application per person. Those awarded the grant are then ineligible to apply for one calendar year. Once awarded, recipients must use their grant within three months (90 days) from the award date. Recipients may use their grant award on any of the hundreds of STEM, MakerEd, and computing technologies available on the Eduporium store.
