- ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is one of the most common plastics used in injection molding. It's found in many common products, such as LEGOs, computer keys, power-tool housings, and automotive parts. The MakerBot ABS is engineered without modifiers to best match the performance characteristics of injection molded ABS.
- SR-30 is a proprietary soluble support material developed by Stratasys to work seamlessly with ABS and other high temperature materials. SR-30 requires a specialized Ecoworks solution along with heat and agitation for best dissolution results.
