Get to Know:
The MonkMakes Air Quality Kit for Raspberry Pi is based around the MonkMakes Air Quality Sensor board. This add-on for the Raspberry Pi enables students to measure the quality of the air in a room (specifically, how stale it is) as well as the room's temperature. The board includes a display of six LEDs that show the air quality as well as a buzzer. Temperature and air quality readings are recorded from the Raspberry Pi and students can also control the buzzer and LED display from the Raspberry Pi.
The Air Quality Sensor board plugs directly into the back of a Raspberry Pi 400, but it can also be paired with other Raspberry Pi models using the jumper wires and GPIO template included in the kit.
